The short version: We built an ISEE practice site that finds your child's starting point, trains the exact skills that need work, and ends every test with a clear next step.

ISEE prep is easier when a child always knows what to do next. Here is the path.

1. Find the starting point

The free assessment takes about 44 questions, with no sign-in. It ends with scores by section and skills to work on first.

The free assessment report: 24 of 44 correct, section scores, and three skills to work on, each with a Drill this button
Scores by section, then "What to Work On."

2. Practice the exact skill

Skill drills cover all four sections. Every answer comes with an explanation.

Pick a skill, then 5 to 20 questions.

A wrong answer shows why.

3. Build vocabulary

Flashcards and quizzes, with word lists for each level.

639 words at the Lower level.

4. Take full practice tests

Timed tests follow the real sections. A score report then names the next move and shows every missed question. Full-length tests for Lower, Middle and Upper come with a Beyond Young course.

5. Track progress

Every test and drill is saved, with a trend for each section.

The My Progress page: a trend chart for each of the four sections and a Practice these first list of weak skills
My Progress shows each section and what to practice first.

6. Practice that matches the real test

We measured all 23 of our full-length tests against the official ISEE materials published by ERB. All 155 checks came out on par. See the comparison.

These checks measure word rarity, reading level and length, not student scores. We promise no result on the real exam.
